Sennta AU ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
We collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our functions, including: centre administrator details (name, email, ABN), student records (name, year level, attendance, assessment results), parent/guardian contact details, and staff payroll information.
We use personal information only for the primary purpose for which it was collected — operating your tutoring centre management platform — or for directly related secondary purposes you would reasonably expect.
We disclose personal information to: Supabase (database hosting, Australia region), Stripe (payment processing), Resend (email delivery), Anthropic (AI features — no personal data included in prompts). We do not sell personal information.
Some service providers operate outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle information in accordance with the APPs.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. In the event of a data breach that is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) within 30 days as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme.
You have the right to request access to personal information we hold about you, and to request corrections. Submit a request via Settings → Privacy in your dashboard, or email privacy@sennta.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.
Financial records are retained for 7 years as required by theTax Administration Act 1953. Student records are retained for 7 years after the student leaves the centre. You may request deletion of other data subject to legal retention obligations.
If you believe we have interfered with your privacy, contact us atprivacy@sennta.com.au. If unsatisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with theOffice of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
